As a wedding business owner and full-time professor at CU Boulder in the Advertising, PR, and Design Department, Loni brings her expertise and passion for teaching to the stage as a keynote speaker, panel moderator, and workshop leader. She is the National Director of Marketing and Communication for WIPA (Wedding Industry Professionals Association) and helps 23 chapters nationwide with their marketing strategies and engagement!

This lecture breaks down the why behind people’s choices as we dissect case studies, build formulas, and learn about research techniques and strategies to implement in order to interact with your ideal client on a deeper level.

Workshop Breakout Session:
Insight Out Workshop
The workshop would accompany the talk with spending time doing some initial secondary research and building out formulas of insights to apply to their businesses.
Workshop Objectives:
Objective 1: By the end of this 90-minute workshop, wedding venue owners will learn how to conduct and analyze primary and secondary research using tools like interviews, surveys, reviews, and competitor scanning, empowering them to generate at least three actionable consumer insights specific to their own business.
Objective 2: Over the course of the session, participants will be guided through the framework of the 9 types of insights (consumer, product, future, etc.) and will each draft a custom insight statement for at least five of the nine types that can be immediately applied to improve their marketing, messaging, or client experience strategy.
