Meet Abed!
Abed Elsamna is the Founder & CEO of VenueX AI, the leading AI platform built specifically for wedding and event venues. With a unique blend of technical vision and hospitality insight, Abed focuses on how AI can meaningfully support - rather than replace - the human side of venue sales and operations.
Abed began his career in commercial real estate finance, advising some of the largest investment banks in the world before moving into technology. He spent years working directly with venue partners, often onsite, sitting with their teams, observing their sales process, and gaining deep, hands-on expertise in the nuances of day to day venue operations. VenueX originally launched as event management software, but the time Abed spent inside venues made it clear that teams were overwhelmed long before an event ever happened. That insight led him to shift the company’s focus toward AI, with the goal of building tools that align with real venue operations and support sales teams where they need it most.
Abed holds a BS from Rutgers University Business School and is endlessly curious about the intersection of software, AI, and hospitality. He lives in New Jersey with his wife and their three young daughters. When he’s not in the office, you can find him spending time with his wife and three daughters, often traveling or exploring new local places to visit.
